Thank you for your interest in meeting me.

I was born in Madrid but at a young age I moved to Valladolid. In this city I studied Law and after finishing my degree, I decided to focus my life on the world of sport, Fitness and Martial Arts. At the same time, I started writing sports articles in magazines such as Dojo, Sport Life, Body Fitness, 3Sesenta or Intergyms.

You may wonder why I decided to become a professional photographer…  Well, I got into photography as a hobby, encouraged by the need to capture the images flashing before my eyes when I dived into another passion of mine: traveling. I feel lucky to have visited amazing countries like New Zealand, Norway, Malaysia, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Japan, China, Finland, Sri Lanka, Borneo, Indonesia, Egypt, USA, Iceland, Singapore, Taiwan, Canadá, etc.

The passion for photography became my profession over time when magazines like “Muscle & Fitness”, “Flex”, “Ironman” or “Musclemag” were interested about my fitness photography style and started to publish my images and articles.

Learning has always been really important to me in order to develop a personal style. Among all training sessions and workshops that have influenced the creation of my style I would underline the ones with photographers like:  Martí Sans, Carlos Cobo, Rebeca Saray, Rafa Barberá, Pedro J. Alcazar, Víctor Saboya, Eduardo Blanco, Clemente Jiménez, Luís Malibrán o Josh Devotto. I also enjoy attending seminars about different topics related to photgraphy: Fotogenio (Murcia), SegoviaFoto, Profoto Day, Keynote, #reunionflecha (Santander), etc.

Training, workshops, seminars added to my own experimentation have created my current photography style which is constantly evolving. I’m not in favor of being labeled under a specific type of photography (photojournalism, editorial, artistic, etc.). I think that the best way to describe my work is through my pictures, that’s why I invite you to take a tour around the galleries. You can also check out some of the works published in the “Publications Gallery”.

Even if it is often said that the most important thing is the photographer, I’m aware that in order to offer the best quality, work instruments have to be equal to the challenge. I rely on NIKON cameras and, concerning illumination, I love natural lighting but if the type of session requests it, I enjoyed PROFOTO and QUADRALITE flashes. Regarding the transport material, LOWEPRO is my choice for urban diary use and F-STOP for travel or nature photography.
